Welcome to our home within a home: the internet outreach ministry of East Baptist Church.

The fact is that the web has, by virtue of it's size and attraction, become a mission field in and of itself. Valid relationships are created and maintained with web tools everyday. Millions of people interact with the use of virtual tools and technology.

Facebook, Twitter, Youtube, Plurk... you name it. There are so many vast portals with millions of people who rely on such means of news dissemination and absorption. And the stereotype of this means of social interaction being a sole bastion of the young is no longer true.

We cannot ignore this important frontier. The same voids that exist physically also exist in the cyberworld. By default, there is even more of a challenge when it comes to claiming the web for God.

This is simply another opportunity for believers to make headway and deliver the gospel by using the same tools available to everyone else. Our internet ministry looks to glorify God by providing a backdrop of the gospel in the everyday lives of our members and visitors.

We are committed, as God leads, to create opportunities for the lost to connect with God even while we bridge gaps that may occur in the believers attempts to draw closer to Him. We humbly believe that our presence in relevant social networks gives us yet another opportunity to serve God in our communities and allows us to plant the seeds that eventually result in face-to-face fellowship.
